Our client, a global investment firm, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in El Segundo, CA!
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement software applications using Python and/or C# .NET.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team and organizational improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 4 years of development experience in a professional environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or C# .NET.
- Experience with SQL and database design principles.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services and development in an Azure environment.
- Knowledge of Snowflake and Kubernetes is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of the full software development life cycle.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
